A girl has been dreamed to work in media industry since she was a child.
Unfortunately, while she had accidentally a student majored in Japanese language and literature bachelor.
Life complicated.
However, she has never forgotten the dream of working in the media. Thanks to the Unimelb, there was an opportunity of doing the master of global media communication and now here she is.
Yang desires to be a content creator. She has started her practices, including photography and video-editing.
Given by the influence of Japanese study, Yang is a big fan of animation and games. So, she is especially passionate about creating gaming videos.
It is widely recognized that technology is changing the world. Entertainment, journalism, broadcast, all of those industry have been reshaped by the emerging technologies.
In terms of journalism, great changes have taken place driven by the technology. The traditional business model has been failed. Multimedia materials provide new forms of storytelling. The emerging platforms now govern the flow of content distribution online.
The industry also faces the challenges of revolutionary technologies, including the big data, VR (virtual reality) and AI (artificial intelligence).
What happens to journalism and what will be the future of it?
